Emily and Dillon’s wedding at Pierre’s was such a gorgeous event. They really wanted the day to be full of handpicked details, and they definitely accomplished that. Emily’s grandmother made their wedding cake, and her mom found the cutest cookies with their pup hand painted on them. So sweet!
The day started out sunny and beautiful at Cheeca Lodge while the girls got ready in the Islamorada Suite. After everyone was all glammed up, we headed over to Pierre’s to get ready for the wedding. Guests were greeted with a glass of champagne as they made their way to the ceremony site. As the guests waited for the ceremony to begin they were able to see the beautiful ocean views and listened to a beautiful string duo- some even spotted a dolphin! When Emily and Dillon locked eyes for the first time all day at the ceremony there was not a dry eye in the room. It was perfect! After the ceremony, guests went to cocktail hour down on the beach- where they enjoyed tropical cocktails and watched the famous Florida Keys sunset. Once the sun went down, it was time to party. The night started with a beautiful welcome toast given by the parents of the bride who personally thanked each vendor and guest for traveling so far to celebrate their baby girl. After dinner it was time to dance. Dillon and the sweetest little ring bearer kicked the night off with a special dance (THE CUTEST!) During the reception the skies opened up, but we quickly moved the party inside and didn’t skip a beat. We absolutely adore Dillon and Emily and her family and wish them nothing but love and adventure.
