After three years of planning, The Golden Pineapple Event Company team was beyond thrilled to finally celebrate Megan and Trevor’s wedding day. Megan was a destination bride- living in Texas and getting married in Key West. Megan and her mother Kim became like family to our team. After narrowing down the Florida Keys as a destination, we quickly realized that Casa Marina was the place to be. It was important to Megan and her family that they provided a true Key West experience for their guests. As a Key West Wedding Planner, our team planned their entire four day wedding weekend from top to bottom. Thursday was all about the bridal party, we started the day off with a bridal luncheon on the terrace with personalized bags filled with Lilly Pulitzer swag and custom Palm Beach Sandals after that the bridal party headed to their Key West scavenger hunt: which was SUCH a fun idea to get to know the island.
Friday was rehearsal day! The family secured the cabanas and had custom beach balls, koozies, snacks and drinks for the bridal party to enjoy before heading to their glam appointment to get ready for rehearsal dinner. We decided the perfect place to host the rehearsal dinner was at the quintessential A and B Lobster. Before they jumped on the trolley, they were sent off with a beautiful toast and welcome drink by the parents of the bride. After dinner, they jumped aboard the trolley and headed back to Casa Marina to rest up for the next day.

Their Key West wedding day was full of so many beautiful details. The bride went for a beautifully glam and dramatic look which I KNEW Kaleidoscope Floral would be perfect for. They chose a color palette of regal reds and golds and used mirrored accents – just beautiful. To end the night, the parents of the bride surprised the groom with a breath taking firework show to kick off the beach-side after party that included a steel drummer, truffle fries, and a s’mores station! Every detail was perfectly executed and truly stunning.

For the farewell brunch on Sunday, the guests were greeted by Bubbles, Pinky, and Angel: our favorite live flamingos that like to make special appearances for our Golden Pineapple brides. Everyone had a wonderful morning as they reminisced about the beautiful weekend. Part of why I love this industry so much is the relationships I get to cultivate with my clients. Megan and her mother Kim will forever be a part of the Golden Pineapple family.
